Polyurea Coating Systems has been formulating pure polyurea since 1988, making PCSI one of the oldest and most experienced formulators in the industry. As the name implies, Polyurea Coating Systems looks at a project from a systems approach, matching primers and pure polyureas to meet the specific job requirements. PCSI also offers concrete treating chemicals, moisture vapor barriers, as well as a range of primers for concrete and steel.

PCSI manufactures a line of pure aromatic and aliphatic polyureas as well as hand or roll applied aliphatic polyureas, which are listed in the Certified Products section of the PDA web site.

To complete the surface preparation, priming and polyurea circle, PCSI is a VAR Distributor of Gusmer Polyurea Spray equipment and offers in house training for it's customers.

PCSI has participated in some of the most visible polyurea projects in the US , including the Pentagon Renovation RDF, Corpus Christi Seawall, and sections of the Boston Tunnel project.

PCSI conducts a full quality control lab, and is active in developing new polyurea system products such as chemical resistant polyurea, low temperature concrete primers, and high performance polyureas. The chemists at PCSI are trained coatings chemists with over 6o years of experience in coatings chemistry and applications. This brings a unique approach to the detailed coating formulations provided by PCSI.

Lee Bower, 2004-2005 President of the PDA, is the president of PCSI. Lee became involved in the PDA in it's early stages of formation realizing that this unique and challenging technology would benefit from an organization where its members worked together to establish industry guidelines, specifications and training.

PCSI is proud to be a member of the PDA and continues its support and involvement in this organization. PCSI is also a member of SSPC, NACE, and ICRI.
