Quantum is an innovative custom formulator specializing in polyurea/polyurethane elastomers and intumescent fire retardant coatings. The company was founded in 1995 in Edmonton Alberta. Intially, products were developed on a custom basis to meet the requirements of individual clients or projects. The company now operates a full time research and development laboratory focused on innovative products to meet the needs of its growing client base. Polyurea and polyurethane products as well as other industrial products are sold directly or through a distibutor network across North America as well as some overseas clients. Fire retardant products are sold through our subsidiary company - Magna Coatings Technology Inc.

Recent innovative coatings include;

- SYSTEM P-180D, zero VOC polyurethane primer for use with all fast set elastomers. This product signficantly reduces waiting time associated with solvent based primers. In addition to outstanding adhesion to concrete and steel SYSTEM P-180D also provides a major improvement in corrosion resistance.

- SYSTEM LS-160, zero VOC Aliphatic polyurea topcoat with long enough open time to maintain a wet edge and achieve smooth high quality finish even on cielings.

- SYSTEM 550D Class A flame spread polyurea. Offers the same durabilityas a typical polyurea but has the added advantage of fire safety.
