Polyurea is a technology classification. There are many different products manufactured by individual companies based on this technology. Each product has its own unique characteristics, properties and uses. Products based on pure polyurea systems will generally display good elastomeric properties, good tensile strengths, high durability and inert qualities. Each manufacturer designs particular products for specific uses. Testing and certifications regarding the particular products are obtained and maintained by the individual manufacturers and is not information available to or through the Polyurea Development Association. If information is being sought regarding products for specific uses, such information will only be available from the manufacturers, so it is recommended that reference be made to the member formulators listed in the PDA membership roster.
