PDA Webinars

The Polyurea Development Association and Bayer MaterialScience are proud to announce the 2nd joint educational webinar.

November 3, 2009, 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Eastern

“Light Stable Polyaspartic Coatings for Construction Applications – Chemistry, Attributes, Uses and Case History”
Moderated by Steven Reinstadtler, Bayer MaterialScience

This presentation will demonstrate the suitability of polyaspartics as light stable topcoats in the construction and built environment.  It will educate the attendees on the details of polyaspartic coatings which are classified as aliphatic polyureas.  The presentation will focus on discussing the basic polyaspartic chemistry and attributes that make this type of polyurea uniquely suited for use where a slightly longer open time is desired.  This presentation will also cover physical, chemical and weathering resistance data, along with typical application equipment and methods including brush, roller and spray.  The presenter will summarize many of the applicable uses for polyaspartics and will review several industrial projects where polyaspartics enabled the contractor to satisfy their customer’s requirements.
